Late-Breaking News

I just accidently applied for a job online. I thought there would be a final submit button, but there wasn't see and my application was not quite complete. It is kind of embarrassing, and now I will never get that job as a pastry chef I so longed for.

Also, I haven't blogged in a while and its because I have been working so hard on my Fable character, who has developed substantial horns, red eyes, and an ominous red smoke that eminates from his person.

Really though, I haven't worked a night shift for a while and so I haven't had the necessary boredom to precipitate a blog. I just answered the phone.
Is anyone going to see Sin City? I am. I'm also going to see Darbie O'Gill when its released on IMAX in a couple of months. They digitalized the king of leperachans as he rides away in the carriage it should be awesome.

There is a new LOST on tomorrow.

Who's reaching out to capture the moment?

The question of the day is this: If you recently got a new job, just where is that money that mysteriously disappeared from Lut Gholein?

Also, I just finished read The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. After the flambouyant beginning of the book I enjoyed the rest of it, especially the parts about puppies. Actually I just don't have much to say about it, there aren't puppies in it, but it made me think about that movie with Sean Connery in it. I think it was sad that Dorian died just as decides to change, I think he should have given his "new" lifestyle a little more than a day to assess for a change in the portrait, he might not have been disappointed then.

Also I played Brothers in Arms for the Xbox (of course). This game was pretty cool, although I've only played it for a about 15 minutes. It is a squad based first person shooter. I'm not sure I want to buy it, but I wouldn't mind playing for a little bit longer. I am going to buy Fable sometime soon, and possibly Battlefront, and probably Soul Calibur Du.

Binge TV

I'm coming down from a Law & Order binge the past two days. I watched too many episodes all in a row on two nights. Now I am wondering why I wasted my time on tv, when I could have been cleaning my house or studying or playing Xbox or something. Oh well, remorse. Although, they were some good episodes.

Now I want to go to bed, or drink some Kool-aid just so I can forget about it.

Ms. Nelson is Missing

By "Ms. Nelson" I mean The Reimbursor. If you haven't noticed he hasn't posted a blog for a couple of weeks now. I urge all those who care about morals and ethics to post a slanderous comment on his blog.

This night, well actually last night now, I saw The Incredibles-- Pixar Studio's classic depiction of a girl and her beloved dog on a cross country journey by rail set in the early 20th century. It was emotional and stirring to see someone so dedicated to finding the treasure.

Tomorrow LOST is on, and one should admit that it is a better show than American Idol.

Can I just say?....

I just wanted to point out the difficulty in recommending something to any of my siblings, or recieving a recommendation from them for that matter. I don't know if it was me who did this to all of us, but someone did, possibly someone named Rob. Anyway, back to where we should be: If I tell one of my siblings that I like a movie, that statement predisposes them to not liking it, or possibly not even seeing it. They may even become adamantly against the movie. This creates at least two distinct problems: 1. We all miss out on movies/CDs/books/media we might enjoy simply because it was recommended us. 2. We feel wary of recommending something to someone because we know they won't want to see it after we've recommended it.

I can't imagine writing down all of the possible reasons for this behavior, but let me just say that it is ridiculous. It really just doesn't make any sense. Shouldn't we whose opinions, and tendencies are most similiar be able to recommend something without reverse opinionation?

This has nothing to do with anything specific, it just came to mind, and I do it to.
